Following the cyber heist, Lam and his accomplices lived a life of extreme luxury across Los Angeles and Miami, catching the attention of the FBI before his arrest in September 2024. Lam rented a high-end Miami estate, purchased over 30 luxury vehicles including Lamborghinis and Ferraris, and stockpiled designer watches worth over $500,000. In one infamous night at an LA nightclub, he blew $569,000 and even tossed expensive Hermès Birkin bags into the crowd to flaunt his stolen wealth.
