Group BOYNEXTDOOR has proven their powerful global popularity once again by claiming the top spot on the Japanese Oricon chart with their new album.

BOYNEXTDOOR Dominates Oricon Daily Album Ranking

According to the latest chart released by Oricon on the 3rd (for October 2), BOYNEXTDOOR’s 1st studio repackage album ‘HOME: DELUXE’ went straight to #1 on the ‘Daily Album Ranking’ on its first day of local release. With this achievement, they have successfully placed all of their albumsβ€”ranging from mini albums 1 through 5, their 1st studio album, two Japanese singles, and now this new releaseβ€”at the very top of the chart, showcasing their solid local standing.

‘HOME: DELUXE’ is an album that captures the members’ determination to expand their musical spectrum with fresh perspectives and emotions beyond familiar spaces. It features a rich lineup of 14 tracks in total, including 9 songs from the original 1st studio album, new tracks ‘ANIMAL’ and ‘CLICHE’, Korean versions of Japanese release songs ‘Count To Love’ and ‘Boom Boom Boom’, and their first fan song ‘400 Years’, displaying the team’s growth narrative.

Strong Performance on Global Music Charts

Their domestic and international chart performances are also cruising smoothly. The new album charted on ‘Popular Albums’ in 14 countries and regions including South Korea (Apple Music #10), Japan, China, and Singapore, and as of 8 AM on the 4th, it entered iTunes ‘Top Albums’ in 6 countries and regions. Title track ‘ANIMAL’ also ranked 22nd on South Korea’s YouTube ‘Top Trending Music’, while recording 24th on Japan’s Line Music Daily ‘Song Top 100’ and 17th on the ‘New Song Top 100’, showing favorable results on music streaming charts as well.
