Group BTS continues to showcase their formidable global influence, as their 5th full-length album ‘ARIRANG’ climbs the US Billboard main album charts even six months after its initial release.

According to the latest chart released by US music media Billboard on October 20 (for the week of October 24), BTS’s ‘ARIRANG’ rose 2 spots from the previous week to land at No. 41 on the ‘Billboard 200’. After debuting at No. 1 on the chart dated April 4 and maintaining the top spot for three consecutive weeks, the album is enjoying long-term success by charting for its 30th consecutive week. On the ‘Top Album Sales’ chart, which tracks physical album sales, it also climbed 2 spots to rank No. 17.

Stellar Streaming and Global Chart Performance

Soundtrack performance, led by the title track ‘SWIM’, is also drawing significant attention. ‘SWIM’ ranked No. 26 and No. 9 respectively on the ‘Global 200’ and ‘Global (Excluding US)’ charts, which aggregate streaming and digital sales from over 200 countries and regions worldwide. Notably, on the ‘Global (Excluding US)’ chart, it has spent a cumulative 29 weeks in the top 10 since entering at No. 1, proving its unwavering popularity. The b-side track ‘NORMAL’ also successfully charted, placing at No. 183 and No. 96 on the respective charts.

Unmatched Ticket Power in the Concert Market

Beyond music, their presence in the concert market is equally overwhelming. The BTS world tour, ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG”, claimed the No. 1 spot on Pollstar’s ‘Global Concert Pulse’ for the week of October 16 for seven consecutive weeks.

The ‘Global Concert Pulse’ is a chart that ranks artists based on average box office gross for concerts reported over the past three months. BTS recorded an average gross of $14.82 million (approx. 19.6 billion KRW) per show across 8 tracked performances. This figure is approximately $5.6 million (approx. 7.4 billion KRW) higher than the per-show average of runner-up Karol G, whose data included 20 performances. Regardless of the number of shows, BTS proved their overwhelming ticket power by recording unmatched revenue per concert.
