According to the latest Billboard charts released on October 3, the group’s 5th studio album, ‘Arirang,’ secured the 40th spot on the Billboard 200 main album chart.
Record-Breaking Billboard Success
Since debuting at number one on the April 4 chart, the album maintained its top position for three consecutive weeks and has now successfully remained on the chart for 27 straight weeks. Furthermore, it reached 26th place on the ‘Top Album Sales’ chart, demonstrating consistent commercial appeal. The title track ‘SWIM’ also continues to perform well, ranking 22nd on the ‘Global 200’ and 7th on the ‘Global (Excluding U.S.)’ chart, where it has maintained a ‘Top 10’ position for 27 consecutive weeks.
2026 VMA Dominance and Upcoming Tour
BTS achieved a historic milestone at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on September 27. The group won ‘Song of the Year’ for ‘SWIM,’ while also securing ‘Best K-Pop’ and ‘Best Group,’ successfully sweeping all three nominated categories. Following these major wins, BTS is set to begin their ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG’ in Bogota, Colombia, on October 2.
