Group BTS Kids Choice Awards 2026 has proven its global presence by earning three nominations at the upcoming 2026 Kids Choice Awards in the United States.
According to the nomination list released by the American entertainment channel Nickelodeon on the 8th (local time), BTS was nominated in the ‘Favorite Music Group or Duo’ category. Additionally, their 5th full-length album ‘ARIRANG’ was selected for ‘Favorite Album’, and the title track ‘SWIM’ was nominated for ‘Favorite Song’, bringing their total to three categories competing for a trophy.
Notably, BTS won the ‘Favorite Music Group’ award for four consecutive years from 2020 to 2023, holding the record for the most wins in that category. Having secured a nomination again this year, the group is now eyeing their fifth historical win. Attention is focused on whether their consistent global popularity will help them secure yet another trophy.
The competition is fierce. In the ‘Favorite Album’ category, BTS is competing alongside world-renowned artists such as Taylor Swift, Drake, and Sabrina Carpenter. Meanwhile, the ‘Favorite Song’ category features strong contenders like Justin Bieber’s ‘DAISIES’, Bruno Mars’ ‘I Just Might’, and Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘drop dead’.
BTS first established a connection with the Kids Choice Awards back in 2018 when they won the ‘Favorite Global Music Star’ trophy. In 2020, they won ‘Favorite Music Group’, and in 2021, they swept three categories with ‘Dynamite’, including ‘Favorite Song’, ‘Favorite Music Group’, and ‘Favorite Global Music Star’. They were subsequently called as ‘Favorite Music Group’ winners in 2022 and 2023 as well, demonstrating their immense influence in the global music market.
The Kids Choice Awards is an annual ceremony hosted by Nickelodeon that honors the most beloved stars and works across music, television, and film. This year’s ceremony is scheduled to take place on November 14 in Los Angeles, California, and will be broadcast live via CBS and Nickelodeon.
