The BTS LA concert has officially returned, sending waves of excitement and massive economic boosts through Los Angeles as global fans flood the city for the group’s first standalone concert here in four years and nine months. Starting September 1, BTS kicked off their highly anticipated ‘ARIRANG’ world tour at SoFi Stadium, drawing crowds from across the United States and around the world.

Local businesses in South Korea’s cultural hub are feeling the massive ‘BTS effect.’ At Music Plaza in Koreatown Plaza, fans formed massive lines right after opening doors. Staff noted that inventory prepared for the concert sold out rapidly due to the unprecedented turnout. Meanwhile, Agassi Gopchang, a famous Korean restaurant previously recommended by BTS, was packed with long queues of devoted followers waiting since midday.
City of Los Angeles Declares Official BTS Week
To celebrate the monumental return, the City of Los Angeles officially proclaimed September 1 through September 8 as ‘BTS Week.’ City Hall glowed in vibrant red lights to honor the group’s 5th album, ‘ARIRANG.’ LA Mayor Karen Bass praised the band’s immense contributions to global culture, emphasizing how art and music bridge communities worldwide.
