BTS NFL Stadium Tour Dominates Global Box Office

BTS NFL stadium tour has officially shattered historic box office records in the United States, proving the South Korean group’s unmatched dominance in the global live performance market. According to Billboard’s recent compilation of 30 NFL stadium concert performances released on September 9, the world tour titled BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ swept the top ranks for highest gross revenue and attendance across multiple major venues.

During their four-show residency at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas last May, the group generated a staggering $49.5 million in ticket sales and drew 246,000 attendees, setting an all-time venue record since its opening. Remarkably, their previous 2002 concert at the same venue secured the second spot, meaning BTS completely swept the top two records.

Record-Breaking Revenue Across Major U.S. Venues

Beyond Las Vegas, the BTS NFL stadium tour claimed the number one all-time highest-grossing spot at Gillette Stadium ($28.7 million), Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium ($27.6 million), and Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium ($40.7 million). At the massive MetLife Stadium in New York, they ranked third with a remarkable $31.8 million in revenue.

This explosive ticket surge was further validated by international music industry metrics. Billboard and Pollstar’s ‘LIVE75’ and ‘Global Concert Pulse’ charts debuted BTS at number one simultaneously. Averaging 72,004 ticket sales per show on the ‘LIVE75’ chart, they outperformed major global artists like Noah Kahan, Karol G, and Chris Brown & Usher by roughly 1.6 times. Earning an average of $12.7 million per show on the ‘Global Concert Pulse’ chart, they outpaced runner-up Karol G by a clear $3.3 million margin.

Upcoming Global Expansion and South American Tour

With additional Middle Eastern and Japanese dates slated for the tour extending into the first half of next year, the global music industry is closely watching what new milestones the group will achieve. Meanwhile, BTS is scheduled to kick off a 14-show leg across five South American cities starting October 2 in Bogota, Colombia, followed by Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and Sao Paulo.
