Las Vegas Turns Red for “BTS The City Arirang”
The high-octane energy of Las Vegas is about to reach a fever pitch as HYBE officially announces the return of “BTS The City Arirang.” This city-wide festival is set to transform the Las Vegas Strip into a massive playground for fans from May 20 to 31, 2026. This immersive experience is designed to coincide with the septet’s highly anticipated four-night residency at Allegiant Stadium, part of their record-breaking “Arirang” World Tour.
Unlike the previous Seoul rendition, which emphasized Korean tradition and cultural heritage, the Las Vegas edition promises a more “extravagant and larger-than-life” scale fitting for the world’s entertainment capital. In a striking visual tribute to the group’s fifth studio album, major landmarks along the Las Vegas Strip will be illuminated in crimson red—the official theme color of the Arirang era.
Immersive Events and Pop-Up Experiences
Fans, known globally as ARMY, can expect a variety of curated activities throughout the 12-day celebration:
-
The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace: A massive official pop-up store will operate from May 21 to 28, offering exclusive tour merchandise and limited-edition Arirang collectibles.
-
Themed Parties & Exhibitions: Nightclubs and galleries across the city will host BTS-themed events, creating a localized “festival ecosystem” for travelers.
-
Weverse Integration: Detailed maps and event schedules will be managed via the Weverse “The City” interface, with additional “surprises” slated for reveal on May 15.
The “Arirang” World Tour: A Global Phenomenon
This festival marks the first time “The City” project has returned to Las Vegas since its successful debut in 2022. The 2026 North American leg of the tour is proving to be a historic commercial success, with 31 sold-out shows across 12 cities.
Having already drawn 190,000 fans in Tampa and visited the Presidential Palace in Mexico, the group’s momentum remains unstoppable. With “Arirang” spending its sixth consecutive week in the Billboard 200 Top 5, the Las Vegas residency—featuring performances on May 23, 24, 27, and 28—is expected to be the crown jewel of the group’s largest world tour to date, spanning 85 shows across 34 global regions.
