The BTS world tour has officially made K-pop history once again by ranking as the highest-grossing worldwide tour globally for the cumulative third quarter of 2026. According to U.S. concert industry publication Pollstar, the group’s ongoing ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG”—which kicked off last April—has drawn an astounding 2,314,140 attendees across 38 shows through August 12, 2026.
During this period, cumulative ticket sales for the South Korea global superstars reached a massive $465.8 million, securing the undisputed #1 spot in worldwide touring. Notably, BTS shattered the previous year’s record held by pop star Beyoncé, whose ‘Cowboy Carter Tour’ grossed $47.06 million (USD) in 2025. Pollstar praised the unstoppable momentum of the tour, noting high expectations for even more records to be broken.
Record-Breaking Ticket Sales and Upcoming South American Dates
The tour’s most explosive ticket sales were recorded in Las Vegas, USA, where four shows at Allegiant Stadium in May drew 245,691 fans and generated $66.6 million in ticket revenue. Continuing their massive global wave, BTS is set to kick off their South American tour starting October 2 in Bogotá, Colombia. They will perform 14 shows across five cities, including Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and São Paulo, with extra dates added in several locations due to overwhelming local demand.
Continued Dominance on Billboard Charts
Alongside their record-breaking stadium tour, the group maintains a strong grip on global music charts. According to Billboard charts for the week of September 26, 2026, the 5th full-length album ‘ARIRANG’ landed at No. 30 on the Billboard 200, successfully charting for 26 consecutive weeks. The title track ‘SWIM’ also proved its powerhouse appeal by ranking No. 5 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 21 on the Billboard Global 200, as reported by OSEN.
