OSEN DB.BTS World Tour Dominates Billboard Boxscore
BTS world tour has once again rewritten music history, with South Korea’s global icons sweeping the upper ranks of the US Billboard Boxscore charts. According to Billboard, the group’s ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG” pulled in an astonishing $102.5 million in ticket sales across just eight performances in July, landing them at No. 2 on the ‘Top Tours’ chart.
Unprecedented Ticket Power and Stadium Dominance
This achievement is particularly overwhelming considering it was accomplished in half the shows of The Weeknd, who took the No. 1 spot with $124.4 million across 16 performances. Billboard highlighted that BTS is only the third artist in historyβfollowing BeyoncΓ© and Bad Bunnyβto cross the $100 million monthly gross threshold across multiple months. Every single standalone concert held in July swept the Billboard ‘Top Boxscores’ Top 10, including packed stadiums in Paris, London, Munich, and Brussels, driving their cumulative tour gross past $433.2 million with 2.3 million attendees.
Sustained Global Chart Success
Beyond live performances, the group’s long-term dominance on global music charts continues to thrive. Their 5th studio album ‘ARIRANG’ has charted on the UK Official Albums Top 100 for 23 consecutive weeks, while Spotify’s ‘Weekly Top Albums Global’ keeps the release firmly in the Top 3 for five months, proving their unstoppable worldwide popularity.
