Veteran South Korean actor Choi Bool-am, affectionately known to the public as the ‘National Father,’ has passed away at the age of 87.

According to the broadcasting industry on the 30th, Choi passed away around 10 p.m. on the 29th while receiving inpatient treatment at a hospital in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
