Choi San, who is currently receiving immense love as a ‘Northern Grand Prince,’ recently had his childhood photos revealed to the public.
On the October 24 broadcast of MBC’s variety show ‘Omniscient Interfering View,’ ATEEZ members Choi San and Hongjoong, along with comedian Yu Young-woo, appeared as guests to share their latest stories.
During the show, Choi San shared a recent memorable encounter. He recalled, "I was taking the elevator to go home when a father recognized me. I was keeping my head down, but he suddenly started doing a chest dance. When I thanked him, he told me, ‘Thanks to you, I’m working out hard these days,’ which made me very happy."
Hongjoong also shared, "I was trapped in the ATEEZ algorithm for about two months, and I must have seen San’s chest muscles over 20,000 times. At some point, I even thought, ‘Is this what true popularity feels like?’ It was my first time experiencing something like this," revealing just how much they can feel their skyrocketing popularity. Choi San added that he had desperately wanted to appear on ‘Omniscient Interfering View’ and expressed his joy by saying it felt like a dream.
Choi San’s daily routine was subsequently unveiled. As Choi San drove with a chic expression, Jun Hyun-moo playfully showed jealousy, asking, "Why are you opening your eyes like that while driving?" Afterward, Choi San’s childhood photographs were broadcasted, drawing warm reactions from everyone who noted that his signature intense gaze hasn’t changed at all since he was a baby.
Currently, Choi San is enjoying massive popularity under the nickname ‘Northern Grand Prince.’ His manager explained, "There are two major pillars of the Northern Grand Prince persona in the industry—singer Choi San and actor Heo Nam-jun." Choi San chimed in, saying, "People say we look alike. We actually know each other and maintain a close older-younger brother relationship."
