[OSEN=Sun Mi-kyung] Band Dragon Pony has previewed a broad emotional spectrum.
Dragon Pony drew significant attention on the 3rd by releasing a highlight medley for their upcoming new single ‘Calling Back’, set to drop on the 5th at 6 PM KST.
The newly released highlight medley video featured snippets of two tracks: the title track ‘Calling Back’ and the b-side track ‘Back when we were young’. Through these two new songs, Dragon Pony is set to showcase their wide emotional spectrum and solidify their presence as a ‘self-producing band’.
Their agency Antenna explained, “The title track ‘Calling Back’ is a song about enduring a farewell by recalling the times spent together instead of focusing on an unreturnable past.”
The track captures a poignant sentiment through Dragon Pony’s signature powerful rock energy, melodic guitar lines, vibrant drum beats, and soulful vocals. It portrays the band’s unique sentiment of farewell with enhanced maturity.
The b-side track ‘Back when we were young’ is rooted in 90s British rock sound, evoking our youth by recalling the moment they first started jamming with friends during their school days. With the snippet releases via the highlight medley, anticipation for Dragon Pony’s music continues to grow.
