OSEN DB.Enhypen Earns 17th RIAJ Platinum Certification in Japan
Enhypen has achieved yet another milestone in South Korea and Japan, receiving the prestigious Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) Gold Disc ‘Platinum’ certification. According to their agency, Belift Lab, the group’s 8th mini album ‘THE SIN : BLISS’, released last month, surpassed 250,000 in cumulative shipments, marking the team’s 17th overall Gold Disc certification in Japan.
Continued Success on Global Charts
This latest achievement adds to a massive string of successes for Enhypen in the global music market. Beginning with their 2nd full-length album ‘ROMANCE : UNTOLD’ in 2024, the group has now secured Platinum and Triple Platinum (750,000 copies) certifications for six consecutive albums. ‘THE SIN : BLISS’ also recorded 2.09 million copies in first-week sales, adding a fifth double-million seller album to their career.
Billboard and Oricon Chart Dominance
Furthermore, the new album reached the top of the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, marking a major career high for the group. On Japan’s Oricon charts, the album also claimed No. 1 spots across the Weekly Combined Album Ranking, Weekly Album Ranking, and Weekly Overseas Album Ranking, according to OSEN.
