Group EVNNE has made a fierce return with their 6th mini album ‘on: our noise’, directly sharing diverse stories ranging from the message behind the new album to the lyric-writing behind-the-scenes of the title track ‘LOOK AT MA’.
EVNNE (Keita, Park Han-bin, Lee Jeong-hyeon, Mun Jung-hyeon, Jihoo) released their 6th mini album ‘on: our noise’ across various music platforms at 6 PM on the 19th, making a surprise comeback. This marks their first new release in about six months since their first single ‘Backtalk’.
The new album ‘on: our noise’ captures the process of collecting and mixing favorite sounds to discover new fun. Led by the title track ‘LOOK AT MA’, the album is packed with five tracks across various genres including rage, hip-hop trap, and digicore, such as ‘BLESS’, ‘kNOW WASSUP’, ‘A-ok’, and ‘That’s OMG’. Notably, all members heavily participated in writing the lyrics, clearly infusing the team’s unique sensibility and color.
Showcasing solidified synergy as a five-member group, EVNNE is set to embark on a massive global tour spanning 22 cities worldwide, starting with the ‘EVNNE FAN-CONCERT [ONE TAKE] IN SEOUL’ held at YES24 LIVE HALL in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on November 21 and 22, followed by Japan, Taipei, 10 regions in North America, and 7 European cities.

The following is a Q&A session with EVNNE regarding their 6th mini album ‘on: our noise’.
Q. How do you feel about making a comeback with your 6th mini album [on: our noise], and could you introduce the album?
Keita: I am thrilled to make a comeback after a long time. This album captures our natural enjoyment of music production and small moments of happiness. Park Han-bin: We added a digital and futuristic feel. Like the ‘boy music lab’ concept, we hope listeners comfortably enjoy us playing with sounds and creating new music. Lee Jeong-hyeon: Since member participation is the highest in this album, I am most curious and excited about the reactions. Mun Jung-hyeon: As we return with an exciting title track, we will happily get through promotions. Jihoo: As our first mini-album together as five members, our hands were involved the most, and it is an album that best highlights EVNNE’s color.
Q. What are the charms and performance key points of the title track ‘LOOK AT MA’?
Park Han-bin: We no longer think we are underdogs. As this is a period for establishing our own color, the most important thing is ‘momentum’. We want to show the individual charms of each member and the energy when all five of us gather. We want people to feel, ‘Ah, this is EVNNE’s momentum right now.’ Lee Jeong-hyeon: It has an ambiguous charm that is both heavy and light overall, and the harmony of free gestures and clear, impactful group choreography is a key viewing point.
Q. Do you have any memorable behind-the-scenes stories from participating in writing the lyrics for ‘LOOK AT MA’?
Keita: I had so many ideas for the chorus part that I recorded a single part in about 50 different versions. Park Han-bin: Following the guide to utilize catchy plosive words, the members and I uttered them out loud to find the optimal words fitting the song. Jihoo: We infused the message into the lyrics that focusing on and enjoying the present is more perfect than chasing goals.

Q. What is your mindset ahead of the global tour starting with the fan concert in November?
Keita: We are preparing with heart and soul so that fans can feel happiness in that moment. Park Han-bin: We want to show how much fun we have playing and promoting on stage. Lee Jeong-hyeon: We will properly show that EVNNE is great at performing and solidly united as a team.
