A GoFundMe fundraiser has been launched by a Korean American man in Anaheim, California, to help his sister who is battling stage 4 breast cancer.

GoFundMe Campaign for Cancer Treatment

Jonathan Kim recently started the online fundraising campaign on October 22 to alleviate the heavy financial burden of medical bills and daily living expenses for his sister. According to the campaign page, his sister was recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, and the cancer has already metastasized to her lungs and bones.

Kim explained that the funds raised will be used for essential expenses, including securing a new living arrangement, hospital visits, inpatient care, and medication. With aggressive treatments scheduled to begin, creating a stable living environment and reducing mounting medical debt have become top priorities for the family.

How to Support the Family

Kim expressed that any support, regardless of the donation amount, along with warm messages of encouragement, would provide tremendous strength to his sister and family during this challenging journey. As of October 25, $1,600 has been raised toward the $100,000 goal. Further details and updates can be found directly on the GoFundMe campaign website.
