Actress Ha Ji-won robot shopping adventures recently captured attention as she explored cutting-edge technology with an enthusiasm that surprised viewers. On the October 22 episode of her YouTube channel ’26hakbeon Ji-won-i,’ featuring KAIST researcher and daily curator Heo Seong-beom, Ha visited the Seoul AI Robot Show to experience the latest innovations.
Expressing her desire to incorporate robots into her daily routine, Ha shared her imaginative wishlist for future household technology. She humorously mentioned wanting a robot that provides full-body health checks, custom cosmetics based on skin condition, and assistance with daily tasks like brushing teeth and showering, though Heo playfully noted that such advanced care is still far off.
Ha later tested a wearable arm-support vest robot, expressing delight at how it could assist her with large-scale painting projects and help her mother lift heavy objects around the house. With five different robots catching her eye, the total estimated cost of her virtual shopping spree reached foreign car territory, showcasing her playful and imaginative consumer spirit.
