Actress Han Ji-min was recently the target of malicious threats, and the perpetrator has been revealed to be the exact same individual who previously stalked her boyfriend, Jannabi member Choi Jung-hoon.

On the 17th, Han Ji-min’s agency, BH Entertainment, stated to OSEN, ‘It is true that the person who left malicious comments about Han Ji-min and the person who stalked Choi Jung-hoon are the same individual.’

Previously on the 16th, the Seoul Central District Court Criminal Division 27 sentenced a woman in her 30s, identified as A, to a fine of 6 million KRW on charges of intimidation and insult.

A had uploaded a total of 19 threatening and insulting posts on her social media between September and October 2024, tagging Han Ji-min and her acquaintances following the public announcement of the actress’s relationship with Choi Jung-hoon in August of that year.

At the time, A claimed that the two celebrities’ relationship was a lie and demanded that Han Ji-min announce a breakup and halt her social media activities. She also uttered threats such as ‘I will ruin the movie Han Ji-min appears in’ and ‘Keep your mouth shut.’

The court handed down the fine, noting that A’s criminal acts severely damaged the image and reputation that Han Ji-min has built up over a long period.

Amidst these developments, it was confirmed that A had also been continuously stalking Choi Jung-hoon. A had posted hundreds of secret comments on Choi’s personal blog containing malicious insults, demands for meetings, death threats, and sexual harassment, as well as loitering near his agency’s building.

Ultimately, Choi Jung-hoon’s side filed a complaint against A, resulting in a finalized sentence that included a temporary restraining order, a 5 million KRW fine, and an order to complete a stalking treatment program.

Meanwhile, Han Ji-min, born in 1982, and Jannabi’s Choi Jung-hoon, born in 1992, began their public relationship in August 2024. The two developed a romantic connection after meeting in 2023 on KBS 2TV’s ‘The Seasons – Choi Jung-hoon’s Night Park.’
