Group ILLIT has premiered the performance of their new title track ‘Arrest’ during their encore concert, signaling a full-scale warm-up for their comeback.
ILLIT held their ‘ILLIT LIVE ‘PRESS STARTβ₯’ ENCORE in KOREA’ concert on October 17β18 at the Incheon Inspire Arena. Having wrapped up their Asian tour from March to August, they are set to finish their tour finale in Japan this December.
The highlight of this concert was undoubtedly the performance of ‘Arrest’, the title track from their 5th mini-album ‘BREAK EVEN’. In this surprise full performance unveiled ahead of their new album release, the members captivated the audience with sharp choreography utilizing whistle props. On the second day, fans even joined in by following the point choreography and blowing whistles together.
Performances showcasing an upgraded ‘ILLIT Core’ continued. A diverse setlist unfolded, featuring ‘paw, paw!’, ‘ICONIC BY MISTAKE’, ‘I Got Your Back (Korean Ver.)’, and ‘Scrum’, all of which were first unveiled during ‘PRESS START’. Furthermore, stages like ‘It’s Me’ and ‘oops!’ allowed them to share deep emotional connections by singing back and forth with the audience.
Moka, who has been taking a break, also visited the audience and contributed by joining the dance challenge. The members showed off their strong teamwork, sharing, ‘We gained so much strength because Moka was with us even before going on stage. ILLIT is always five members.’
Finally, ILLIT expressed their gratitude, saying, ‘No matter the stage, we are happy as long as GLLIT (their fandom name) and our members are together. Thank you for enthusiastically enjoying this concert.’ They added, ‘It was especially meaningful to present our new song ‘Arrest’ for the first time at ‘PRESS START’. We prepared really hard with the determination to arrest your hearts, so please look forward to the upcoming 5th mini-album ‘BREAK EVEN’ promotions.’
Meanwhile, ILLIT will release the music video teasers for the title track on October 23 and 25, followed by the official release of the new album’s audio and music video on October 26 at 6 PM KST.
