Lynsi Snyder, CEO of In-N-Out Burger, is addressing public confusion over her recent comments about relocating to Tennessee, clarifying that the company is not leaving California or moving its corporate headquarters.

The misunderstanding followed Snyderβs appearance on the Relatable podcast, where remarks about Californiaβs challenges in raising a family and running a business sparked viral headlines and speculation that In-N-Out was abandoning the state.
In a video posted to her Instagram account Monday night, Snyder said, βWeβre not moving In-N-Out Burgerβs corporate headquarters. Weβre not leaving California or leaving our roots behind. Each one of our locations is here to stay.β
She emphasized that her decision to move is personal and unrelated to the companyβs long-term plans. βWhere I raise my family has nothing to do with my love and appreciation for our customers in California,β Snyder said. βIβm very proud of where In-N-Out started.β
Snyder also reaffirmed her support for In-N-Out employees, noting that the companyβs growth in other states is partly driven by the desire to provide associates with more affordable living options. βItβs tough here in California,β she said. βBut I love our associates and I want to offer them this.β
