Koreatown’s dominant real estate player is taking its signature office-to-housing playbook further west. The Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) has officially issued construction permits for a major Jamison adaptive reuse project at 6380 Wilshire Boulevard.
The ambitious development, which originally received entitlement approvals in 2023, will overhaul a 17-story, 144,000-square-foot mid-century office high-rise into a modern 217-unit residential community.
Designed by Next Architecture, the renovation will preserve the 1963 building’s original exterior glass façade while adding fresh windowing along sections of the 176-space above-grade parking garage, alongside a brand-new rooftop penthouse level.
