On the 29th, Netflix confirmed to OSEN that Jeong Ye-in will be taking on the role of Cheon Jang-mi in the upcoming season. The character was previously portrayed by actress Ha-young in the first season. Ha-young stepped down from the role following public controversy surrounding her great-grandfather’s history of pro-Japanese activities. While Ha-young was initially slated to appear in both seasons two and three, her departure was finalized, and Netflix stated that they fully respect the actor’s position regarding the matter.
