Ji Chang-wook recently opened up about his incredibly busy acting schedule and how it has completely isolated him from his personal relationships. During his appearance on the South Korean variety show ‘Secretary Jin’, broadcast on the 18th, the actor shared a candid look into his current lifestyle.
Becoming a Loner Due to Constant Filming
When asked by Lee Seo-jin if he had kept in touch with fellow actor Doh Kyung-soo after their previous collaboration, Ji Chang-wook confessed that filming ‘Secretary Jin’ was the last time they saw each other. Explaining his isolated routine, the actor shared, โAfter the show ended, I went straight into another project. I can’t meet people at all these days. When work finishes, I’m busy resting at home. Between work and home, I’ve become a loner.โ
An Impressive 2026 Lineup of Projects
Agreeing with his sentiments, Lee Seo-jin noted how shooting year-long projects naturally ends friendships. Ji Chang-wook added that he now feels embarrassed and apologetic constantly turning down invitations to meet friends due to filming. According to OSEN, the hardworking South Korean star has been non-stop, starring in three major projects in 2026 alone, including the film ‘Swarm’, the Netflix drama ‘Scandal’, and the Disney+ series ‘Marry Merry Love’, fueling his unstoppable passion for acting.
