Six Korean K Founders Night AI and tech startups recently showcased their businesses to investors in Los Angeles during LA Tech Week, expanding their reach into the U.S. market.
Cortex Solutions, an LA-based Korean-American business connector led by CEO Jasmine Kim, hosted the ‘K Founders Night’ on the 13th at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hollywood. Held as an official LA Tech Week event, it brought together about 40 attendees, including representatives from eight investment firms, entrepreneurs, and IT industry experts.
During the event, six companies presented their business models to investors: Skyli, Netkiller, TutorFlow, AIGridX, Patient Companion, and JIGO.
Kim, representative of Tolson Ventures, shared his venture investment experience and insights through a keynote speech. Networking sessions followed the presentations.
The event was sponsored by participating companies Skyli, AIGridX, and JIGO. Skyli operates ‘Worknut,’ an AI platform that consolidates customer inquiries from multiple channels. AIGridX is a decentralized AI data center company that utilizes surplus electricity to provide computing resources in areas without water supply. JIGO assists small and medium-sized businesses with commercial real estate searches, price negotiations, and contract reviews.
Event organizer CEO Jasmine Kim stated, “During LA Tech Week, over 800 events take place, drawing key industry players and investors. Korean-related companies utilized this opportunity to directly meet local investors and industry insiders.”
