Global girl group KATSEYE is proving their long-term box office power and steady upward momentum on global music charts with their track ‘Animal’.

According to Spotify’s latest chart released on the 10th (covering October 2 to 8), ‘Animal’, the pre-release track from KATSEYE’s third EP ‘WILD’, climbed two spots from the previous week to land at No. 48 on the ‘Weekly Top Song Global’ chart. The song previously peaked at No. 8 and has now maintained its presence on the chart for 11 consecutive weeks, displaying steady popularity.

The upward trend was also notable in the U.S. market. ‘Animal’ recorded 112th place on Spotify’s ‘Weekly Top Song USA’, jumping 12 spots compared to the previous week. Rising simultaneously on both global and U.S. charts demonstrated KATSEYE’s wide fandom and continuous streaming consumption.

The EP title track ‘Hootie Frutti’ also continued to show its presence on the charts. This song ranked 150th on Spotify’s ‘Weekly Top Song Global’, successfully charting for eight consecutive weeks. Its previous peak was No. 18.

The success of both tracks continued in the UK as well. ‘Animal’ ranked 79th and ‘Hootie Frutti’ placed 66th on the UK Official Singles Top 100 for the week of October 9 to 15. They have entered the charts for 11 and 8 consecutive weeks, respectively, proving their steady local popularity. Notably, ‘Animal’ reached its team-best peak of No. 12 on the chart, while ‘Hootie Frutti’ recorded a peak of No. 16.

KATSEYE will continue their global activities by participating in concerts and major events through the end of the year. Having recently wrapped up their ‘THE WILDWORLD TOUR’ European schedule, they will kick off their North American tour starting in Miami on the 13th (local time). Afterwards, they will perform at the ‘2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show’ in Los Angeles on the 18th, followed by the ‘2026 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour’ stage on December 1.

Meanwhile, KATSEYE is a group launched by HYBE and Geffen Records under Bang Si-hyuk’s ‘multi-home, multi-genre’ strategy. Combining K-pop methodology and debuting in the U.S. in 2024, they claimed the top spot on the U.S. Billboard main album chart ‘Billboard 200’ with their EP ‘WILD’. Three tracks from the album entered the main song chart ‘Hot 100’, showcasing their elevated status in the global pop market through key music achievements.
