Actor Keegan Allen, known for his role in the hit drama ‘Pretty Little Liars,’ recently revealed through social media that he was assaulted and robbed of his high-end watch by armed robbers in West Hollywood.
The incident took place on a Thursday night in the parking lot behind ‘Laurel Hardware,’ a luxury grocery store located on Santa Monica Boulevard.
According to Allen, two men armed with a gun and a weapon approached him, demanded his Rolex watch, struck him in the head, and then fled the scene.
Allen recently shared a post on Instagram expressing gratitude to his friends, fans, and law enforcement, while also posting a photo of a blood-stained crucifix necklace worn during the incident. He is reportedly currently recovering from his injuries.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department stated that it has stepped up patrols in the West Hollywood area following the incident.
Captain Calvin Mah stated, “We plan to meet with the victim to review the details of the incident thoroughly,” adding, “As this is a shocking event for the community, we are collaborating with the West Hollywood Station to increase patrols.”
Authorities warned residents to exercise caution, noting that robbery incidents of this nature tend to increase as the year-end holiday and shopping season approaches.
The two suspects remain at large, and the investigation is currently ongoing.
