Kim Garam has recently shared new updates four years after her departure from the K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM, drawing significant attention to her official transition into acting in South Korea. Management Koo, her agency, released a special ‘5-word talk’ video on their official social media channels featuring the rising star following her recent profile photo shoot.
Reflecting on Her Profile Shoot
In the newly released video, Kim Garam candidly answered questions about her current feelings and recent activities using strictly five-word phrases in Korean. When asked about her mood for the day, she expressed, βIt was nervous yet good.β Describing her thoughts on the profile shoot, she shared that she was βtoo worried.β Furthermore, she highlighted her βsparkling eyesβ as her main charm point and noted her current personal interests as βweight training and anime.β She concluded with a warm message to her fans, asking them to βlook upon me kindly.β
Stepping Into Her Acting Career
Kim Garam originally debuted as a member of LE SSERAFIM in May 2022. However, she withdrew from the group in July of the same year following unresolved pre-debut school bullying controversies. While LE SSERAFIM successfully reorganized into a five-member group and gained immense global popularity, Kim Garam stepped away from the spotlight to focus on her education. In 2024, she enrolled in the Department of Media Acting at Konkuk University to pursue a fresh start. After launching her personal Instagram and a YouTube channel last year to share her acting studies, she signed an exclusive contract with Management Koo this past June to officially transition into an actress. Management Koo praised her dedication and growth potential, noting that they had closely monitored her YouTube journey.
