Actress Kim Ji-yeon delivered a powerful and sincere performance in the Disney+ and Channel A drama ‘Dive to You’, directed by So Jae-hyun and written by Kim Bo-geum and Lee On.
Playing the role of top star Yoon Ha-na, Kim Ji-yeon is currently portraying a complex romance with her first love, Jeong Woo-jae, played by Park Seo-ham.
Kim Ji-yeon has built an emotional narrative as Ha-na struggles desperately to protect Woo-jae. She poured out heartbreaking tears while holding Woo-jae, who lost his life twice trying to protect her, and showed a resolute will to dive into time travel repeatedly to save him.
Additionally, Ha-na practiced acting alongside Woo-jae to help him become an actor rather than just a bodyguard, subtly shaking his heart. Toward the end of the episode, upon receiving Woo-jae’s confession, she shared a heart-fluttering kiss with reddened eyes.
Through these scenes, Kim Ji-yeon successfully conveyed a wide spectrum of emotions ranging from the grief of losing her first love to the desperation of saving a loved one and the joy of confirming each other’s feelings, raising anticipation for her future activities.
