Aย Korean woman found deadย in a Colorado home is believed to have been killed by her estranged husband, who was also found dead at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the case as a possible murder-suicide.
According to the El Paso County Sheriffโs Office, Yoon Jung Shin, 53, and her husband, Donald Johnson, 64, were found with fatal gunshot wounds inside a home in Gleneagle at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Sept. 7.
Deputies responded after a neighbor reported that Shin had not been seen for several days. They found Johnsonโs vehicle parked outside the residence.
After receiving no response from inside, deputies deployed a drone to search the home before entering and discovering the two bodies.
One neighbor said yelling had recently been heard coming from the home. The neighbor also recalled seeing Shin crying while speaking with police.
Shin taught music lessons from her home. Unaware of her death, some of her students reportedly arrived at the residence for lessons as recently as Sept. 9.
