South Korean actor Kwak Si-yang and singer-actress Yoo Ji-ae, a member of the popular K-pop girl group Lovelyz, are set to tie the knot this fall. Both agencies confirmed the news on Thursday, announcing that the couple will hold a private wedding ceremony on November 28, 2026, attended exclusively by family members, relatives, and close acquaintances.
“The two have decided to build their future together based on deep mutual trust and affection,” said Kwak’s agency, 9Ato Entertainment. Yoo’s management, KPlus Holdings, echoed the sentiment, confirming that wedding preparations are officially underway. The pair reportedly began dating approximately one year ago, keeping their relationship out of the public eye until the surprise marriage announcement.

Kwak Si-yang, whose legal name is Kwak Myung-jin, launched his entertainment career in the modeling industry before making his feature film debut in the acclaimed indie queer drama Night Flight (2014). Over the past decade, the 39-year-old actor has established himself as a versatile leading man across both film and television.
His notable credits include the popular rom-com Oh My Ghost (2015), fantasy-mystery Alice (2020), historical drama Lovers of the Red Sky (2021), and the crime procedural Flex X Cop (2024). Most recently, Kwak has been preparing for the premiere of the upcoming KBS 2TV weekend drama A Love Other Than Yours, scheduled to air its first episode on September 12.

Yoo Ji-ae first stepped into the spotlight through INFINITE’s 2010 reality program before officially debuting with Woollim Entertainment’s signature eight-piece girl group Lovelyz in 2014. Known for their melodic synth-pop style, Lovelyz delivered several major 2010s K-pop hits, including “Ah-Choo,” “Destiny,” and “Hi~”.
Following the expiration of her contract with Woollim in 2021, the 33-year-old singer transitioned into acting, signing with KPlus Holdings. She has since built her acting portfolio with appearances in the revenge thriller The Escape of the Seven and daily drama The Third Marriage, alongside roles in independent thrillers and digital short-form dramas.
