No Brain, South Korea’s representative punk rock band, has teamed up with the beloved character Pengsoo for a special 30th-anniversary collaboration project. The new single album ‘No Brain 30th Part.6’ officially drops at noon today.
A Special Collaboration for the 30th Anniversary
This single is part of No Brain’s large-scale 30th-anniversary project titled ‘Still Noisy’. Having maintained a friendly relationship over the years, No Brain and Pengsoo have joined forces once again to deliver a unique and joyful experience for music fans.
Double Title Tracks: ‘Go to the Moon’ and ‘Late-Night Snack’
The new album features two double title tracks: ‘Go to the Moon’ and ‘Late-Night Snack’. ‘Go to the Moon’ is an upbeat disco rhythm and retro-sound track where Pengsoo, having experienced a wonderfully good dream, shares hope with listeners. ‘Late-Night Snack’ is an acoustic track that captures the craving and memories associated with late-night food, blending Pengsoo’s vocals with the warm harmonies of No Brain members.
Pengsoo Shares Excitement
Reflecting on the collaboration, Pengsoo shared, "It is an honor and a joy to celebrate the 30th anniversary with No Brain, who are both my beloved seniors and mentors. Thank you for making music that has given us strength for 30 years, and let’s keep rocking like crazy in the future."
Ongoing Anniversary Activities
As part of their milestone year, No Brain has been releasing collaborative tracks sequentially with various artists including B.I (BI), Green Flame Boys, Far East Tigers, and DAY6 members Sungjin and Dowoon. The band is also continuing the celebratory momentum through Hongdae club tours, year-end solo concerts, and pop-up stores.
