Parata Airlines is accelerating preparations for flight operations and sales infrastructure as it approaches its entry into the U.S. market.
Parata Airlines announced on the 2nd that it has established an LA branch ahead of its scheduled LA route launch next May, and plans to systematically drive preparations for the launch, including airport operations, ground handling, sales and marketing, and building networks with the travel industry.
The establishment of the LA branch serves as a measure to further systemize launch preparations while proactively building a sales foundation in the U.S. market. Brian Kim, a professional with over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, has been appointed as the inaugural LA branch manager.
Kim has lived in the U.S. for about 40 years, building extensive experience in the business environment and aviation market. After working for 16 years at Asiana Airlines’ Americas regional headquarters, he joined Air Premia in 2022 to serve as its inaugural LA branch manager. He established flight operation systems and built cooperative relationships with airport authorities and related organizations from the initial LA launch, and subsequently oversaw overall LA business operations including sales and marketing, business development, organization, and financial management. Parata Airlines plans to leverage Kim’s experience in opening new LA routes and his U.S. network to focus on securing a stable operating foundation from the early stages of launch.
In addition, the airline aims to secure sales and marketing foundations prior to launch by expanding cooperation with the travel industry and business partners. Branch Manager Kim stated, Based on the experience and network I have built in the U.S. aviation market, I will solidly build the foundation for Parata Airlines to stably enter the U.S. market.
He added, I will focus not only on flight preparations but also on introducing Parata Airlines to customers and partners, creating a foundation for continuous business expansion. A Parata Airlines official stated, The establishment of the LA branch and the appointment of the branch manager signify that preparations for the LA launch are being concretized into organizational and business infrastructure stages.
