Park Si-woo has proven her global presence by being selected as a presenter for a major upcoming music awards ceremony.
Park will attend the first day (‘DAY1’) of ‘The 18th Melon Music Awards (MMA2026),’ which will be held for two days on November 14 and 15 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul.
This year’s MMA2026 features a star-studded lineup of presenters ranging from veteran top stars such as Lee Young-ae, Jang Keun-suk, Byun Yo-han, Tiffany Young, and Lee Do-hyun, to rising actors like Kang Hoon, Noh Yoon-seo, Ryeoun, and Shin Ye-eun. Park Si-woo will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with them, solidifying her rapid growth and establishing her position as a global rising actress.
Park emerged as a next-generation Hallyu star this year through the Wavve drama ‘Prosecutor’s Proposal.’ Playing the role of investigator Lee Chae-ha, she captured viewers’ attention with her delicate emotional acting and strong presence, rapidly expanding her fandom beyond South Korea to a global scale.
Indeed, ‘Prosecutor’s Proposal’ achieved remarkable success both domestically and internationally. It ranked first in real-time dramas on the domestic OTT platform Wavve twice, claimed the No. 1 spot on Japan’s FOD daily and weekly drama rankings, and topped the Asian drama daily and weekly charts for European and North American regions on the global OTT platform iQIYI. It also ranked first in daily, weekly, and monthly charts in Vietnam.
Notably, her fan meeting in Seoul drew massive attention when approximately 50,000 reservation waiting applicants flooded a 2,000-seat venue, triggering a continuous stream of love calls for commercials, pictorials, and fan meetings centered around China and Southeast Asia.
Building on the success of her work and establishing a global fandom, she is proving her competitiveness as a next-generation Hallyu star.
Starting with global OTT success, moving through world-class fashion weeks, and now being selected as a presenter for a premier domestic music awards ceremony, Park Si-woo continues to expand her activity spectrum into acting, fashion, and entertainment in a short span of time. With such rapid growth, anticipation is high for her upcoming appearance and new charm at MMA2026.
