[OSEN=Choi Lee-jung] Group SHINee Minho faces an unexpected, mega-sized crisis and falls into a ‘mental breakdown’ during a ‘triathlon’ held amidst severe weather conditions.

In the MBC variety show ‘I Live Alone’ (directed by Heo Hang and others), airing at 11:10 PM today (the 6th), Minho’s passionate struggle as he takes on the ‘triathlon’ held in Tongyeong will unfold.

In photos released ahead of the broadcast, Minho draws attention as he remains immersed in the race with an unyielding determination despite heavy rain pouring down. Having safely completed the swimming event, which involved fierce hand-to-hand combat, Minho mounts his beloved bicycle ‘Black Devil’ and dashes through the rain, shouting, “I can do it!”

However, as the rainfall intensifies, the worst conditionsβ€”causing even seasoned ironmen to click their tonguesβ€”form, and Minho ultimately senses an unusual crisis before coming to a sudden halt. During his interview with the production team, Minho confesses his shocking and nerve-wracking state of mind at the time, saying, “My mental state suddenly broke down completely.”

Even at the moment Minho is frozen in panic, the race time ticks away mercilessly, and other triathlon athletes quickly pass him by. Curiosity amplifies over the true nature of the sudden incident that brought him to a temporary halt.

However, the ‘flame-hearted man’ Minho does not collapse like this. To make up for the delayed time, he pursues the race fiercely with spite and grit. Running toward the finish line, Minho challenges his own limits while repeating to himself, “Let’s not become this weak!”

Having run past the crisis, Minho raises expectations to a peak by picking the unforgettable, most decisive moment of the triathlon, sharing, “That was the moment when dopamine exploded the most.” Attention is focused on whether he can overcome the bad weather and achieve his goal of breaking his personal best record.

Meanwhile, Minho previously completed the 42.195 km full course in 3 hours, 00 minutes, and 18 seconds at the ‘2026 JTBC Seoul Marathon’ held on the 1st. However, after a scene was captured where a pacemaker pushed his back, he became embroiled in a physical assistance controversy under World Athletics regulations.

In response, Minho made an official apology via SNS on the 3rd, stating, “Everything happened due to my own shortcomings, and as someone who loves sports, I feel deeply ashamed. I will not accept this marathon result either,” returning his race record to the organizer and showing mature handling of the situation.
