Soyeon Premieres First Solo Album Tracks
Soyeon from the South Korean group (G)I-DLE has given fans a special preview of her highly anticipated solo comeback. Appearing on the February 2nd broadcast of EBS1’s ‘Space Sympathy’, Soyeon performed the entire setlist from her upcoming 1st solo regular album, ‘Awesome Life’, set for release on February 7th.
A Musical-Like Performance on Space Sympathy
The broadcast, themed around ‘Soyeon’s Awesome Life’, featured a rich 11-song setlist backed by a live band, blending her new music with previous solo hits. Opening the show with the title track ‘Resigning’ (featuring narration by Kian84), Soyeon delivered a powerful musical-like performance that moved fluidly between the stage and the audience.
Reflecting on her creative process, Soyeon shared that creating ‘Resigning’ brought her to tears. She explained that the song serves as personal comfort, reminding her to protect her own happiness and the romance of the moment. Wrapping up the performances, she expressed deep satisfaction with her 1st solo album, stating it truly reflects her authentic stories and desires.
