How Spotify Sniffs Out the Synthetic Acts
Spotify isn’t relying purely on the honor system. While creators can voluntarily flag themselves via Spotify for Artists, internal review teams will actively audit high-volume accounts sporting photorealistic, AI-generated profile pics and personas.
When clicking the tag, listeners will see whether the artist came clean voluntarily or got “busted” by Spotify’s review team.
