OSEN DB.Stray Kids Sets New 4th-Gen Record
Stray Kids has officially achieved another milestone as their ‘This & That’ music video surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, proving their unmatched global influence. Released on August 7 as the title track of their mini-album ‘THIS & THAT’, the video hit the 100 million mark on September 23. Featuring a chill and cool hip-hop mood combined with a sensory reimagining of an old, worn space and the eight members’ groovy performances, the track drove non-stop replays from global music fans.
This achievement marks the group’s 16th title track and 22nd music video overall to cross the 100-M view threshold, firmly maintaining their title as the K-pop 4th-generation boy group with the most 100-million-view music videos. Notably, all 22 tracks have involved contributions from the in-house producing team 3RACHA, highlighting their exceptional self-producing capabilities.
Global Chart Dominance and Massive Tour
As reported by OSEN, group leader Bang Chan holds the record for the most-registered copyrights among K-pop idols with 245 tracks registered with the Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) as of September 23, while Changbin and Han also boast massive contributions with 210 and 207 tracks respectively. The track ‘This & That’ previously debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard main album chart ‘Billboard 200’ for a historic ninth consecutive time, and continues to reign supreme on the Billboard World Albums and Top Album Sales charts in South Korea and globally.
Riding this chart-topping wave, Stray Kids is currently dominating South America as the exclusive headliner of their new music festival ‘STRAYCITY’. Following grand performances in Bogota, Colombia and Buenos Aires, Argentina, the group is set to cap off their massive global tour in Mexico City, Mexico.
