In a historic first for a South Korean original title, Disney+ released a standalone special content video titled ‘Special Look,’ offering a deep dive into the meticulous production process. Lead star Shin Min-a expressed her curiosity about the live-action transition, while Ju Ji-hoon praised the intense narrative involving love, divorce, political intrigue, and power struggles. European General Producer Nam Yoon-seok shared that the team scouted 16 European castles across France, Germany, and the Czech Republic, ultimately selecting Germany’s Schleissheim Palace to bring the Eastern Empire to life.
