Group BIGBANG alumnus T.O.P fandom shutdown has officially begun as his 20-year-old major fan site, Choi Seung-hyun Dot Com, announced the end of its operations.

On the 10th, the prominent fan page released an official notice stating, ‘We have decided to terminate our operations because we can no longer overlook T.O.P and TOPSPOT Pictures’ avoidance of reality, evasion of responsibility, and attitude of taking fans’ dedication for granted.’

The fan site pointed out the agency’s inadequate management, noting that despite the promise of an ‘album for the fans,’ the stages and communication they eagerly awaited were insufficient. They added that album promotions, fan communication, and even practical support tasks heavily relied on the voluntary efforts of an individual fan site.

Choi Seung-hyun Dot Com further clarified that the exhibition cancellation was an inevitable decision due to low participation rates and burdensome operating costs. However, they expressed frustration that the decision was distorted as ‘behavior by fans angry over dating,’ and felt the agency focused more on revealing reservation statuses in notices rather than addressing the core issue.

Concluding their statement, the site warned that if malicious criticisms or distortions of facts continue, they will not back down and will respond firmly using preserved materials and evidence.
