TVXQ’s Max Changmin is making his highly anticipated return as a solo artist after approximately 4 years.
According to OSEN reports on the 26th, Max Changmin will release a new solo album and make his comeback in mid-October.
Previously, Max Changmin made his solo debut in April 2020 with his 1st mini-album ‘Chocolate’. Following the promotions for his 2nd album ‘Devil’ in January 2022, he focused primarily on group activities, releasing albums and going on tour between Korea and Japan as a member of TVXQ.
Notably, in August of last year, he released his Japanese digital single ‘My Bad’ and successfully wrapped up his first solo Japanese tour, ‘CHANGMIN from Tohoshinki CONCERT TOUR ~The First Dining~’, marking 22 years since his debut.
Furthermore, he recently proved his capabilities as a solo artist by delivering a stellar solo performance at the ‘Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026’. As this marks his return to domestic fans as a solo artist rather than part of a group in 4 years and 9 months, anticipation is high for the kind of music he will present.
Meanwhile, Max Changmin has been actively engaged in various fields, recently appearing as a fixed panelist on the Disney+ mystery variety show ‘Murder Club’, which concluded on the 12th.
