TXT Soobin recently opened up about how he shed tears listening to singer Han Roro’s music and shared the story behind their surprising three-year friendship.
On October 9th, the YouTube channel ‘Zip Daeseong’ released a new episode featuring singer Han Roro as a guest alongside Soobin. The two stars immediately displayed a comfortable dynamic, greeting each other with playful banter. Soobin joked, ‘People seeing us for the first time might think we’re being rude to each other, but we’re actually good friends.’ He also highlighted his long-standing fandom, stating, ‘Fans already know how much I love Han Roro’s music,’ having mentioned and supported her several times in the past.
Soobin went on to reveal how they first connected, recalling, ‘Han Roro wrote a B-side track called “Water Drop” (Mulsujebi), and I cried when I first heard it.’ He added that the lyrics deeply resonated with him and left a lasting emotional impression.
This deep appreciation eventually prompted Soobin to reach out directly. ‘I sent her a DM first just to say thank you for writing such a wonderful song,’ he explained, noting that this sincere musical connection paved the way for their friendship. Han Roro also expressed her gratitude, saying, ‘I don’t have many friends, so thank you for approaching me first,’ crediting Soobin’s initial message for starting their bond.
Soobin expressed pride in Han Roro’s rising status, noting, ‘She used to be a secret artist only I knew about, but now she has become a major star.’ Han Roro playfully deflected, saying, ‘It’s all thanks to Soobin giving me a shoutout.’ When Soobin modestly denied it, Han Roro quickly joked back, ‘I guess not really,’ bringing laughter to the set.
Their natural exchange of compliments and jokes highlighted the strong bond they have built over the past three years. The heartwarming story of Soobin sending an appreciation message over a single song and turning it into a lasting friendship has captured the hearts of fans.
