Universal Studios Hollywood Diamond Pass β€” New $1000 Annual Pass with Express Access & VIP Tour

Universal Studios Hollywood Diamond Pass

Universal Studios Hollywood has introduced a brand-new top-tier annual pass called the Universal Studios Hollywood Diamond Pass, offering all-day Express access, a VIP experience, and special event admission tickets. Priced at $999.95, it is $400 more expensive than the previous highest tier, the Platinum Pass.

The new Diamond Pass grants admission to Universal Studios Hollywood 365 days a year along with free general parking. However, complimentary parking does not apply after 6 PM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in April, May, September, and October.

The most significant upgrade is the Express access time. While the Platinum Pass allows one-time-per-ride Express access starting at 3 PM, the Diamond Pass provides the exact same benefit right from park opening time.

Additionally, the pass includes one-time admission tickets to Halloween Horror Nights and Universal Fan Fest Nights. It also includes one VIP Experience ticket, which normally starts at $359.95 when purchased separately. However, the VIP tour is subject to availability and blackout dates.

Diamond Pass holders also receive a 20% discount on food, beverages, and merchandise purchases inside the park. This is higher than the Platinum Pass’s 15% discount rate, and savings extend to Universal CityWalk as well as friend and family admission tickets.

Universal representatives stated that visitors can recoup the value of the pass through regular admission savings within about 10 visits. The pass is valid for 12 months from the date of the first visit, and advance reservations may be required on certain dates.

The Diamond Pass can be purchased for a lump sum of $999.95 or through a FlexPay option requiring a down payment of $449.95 followed by monthly payments of $50. Meanwhile, the Gold Pass is priced at $299.95, the Silver Pass at $219.95, and the California Neighbor Pass at $179.95.
