K-pop representative performance crew WDBZ (We Dem Boyz) is bringing hip-hop into their choreography.
According to ARA on the 27th, WDBZ completed their first single ‘CINEMA’, set for release on November 9, in collaboration with artists Sokodomo and Brian Chase.
Expectation is rising as two artists who have built unique musical worlds lend their strength to WDBZ’s first music project.
‘CINEMA’ is the very first single released under WDBZ’s own team name. It is drawing attention as a new attempt to produce music specifically for their own performance rather than following the conventional formula of creating choreography to fit a finished song.
This collaboration was organized to realize the direction and sound pursued by WDBZ right from the music production stage. They deeply considered voices that could most clearly convey the energy they wanted to express through ‘CINEMA’, leading to an ideal harmony with the distinct personalities and musical colors of Sokodomo and Brian Chase.
WDBZ shared their satisfaction and gratitude, stating, “As the different charms of the two artists met within a single song, a result that coexists with the raw energy and precision we desired was born.”
WDBZ consists of Vata, Ingyu, Gyeongnam, Youngbin, Dofhan, Camel, Noan, Hojun, Ahop, and Baekdusan. Among them, leader Vata is getting married to actress Ji Ye-eun this coming December.
