A Yamava Resort Casino resident recently turned a small $5 bet into a life-changing $1.97 million progressive jackpot, sparking excitement across Southern California.

Yamava Resort & Casino at San Manuel announced that Veng M. from Rancho Cucamonga won the massive $1,977,758 progressive jackpot while playing Ultimate Texas Hold’em. The lucky winner met the game’s highest criteria by completing a royal flush using five diamond cards after placing a $5 progressive side bet.

Earlier in March, a Los Angeles resident wagered $100 and secured a $1.2 million jackpot. According to the casino, major table game payouts distributed this year have reached approximately $4.5 million including this latest win.

Located in Highland, San Bernardino County, Yamava Resort & Casino is situated roughly 70 miles from downtown LA. The expansive property features over 7,500 slot machines, five high-limit gaming rooms, a hotel, spa, entertainment venue, and a wide array of restaurants and bars.
