YG Entertainment had said the girl group would debut in September.

โ€œAll preparations have been completed, and when the girl group officially debuts in November, we plan on relentlessly marching forward at full speed, so please look forward [to BabyMonster],โ€ the agency added.

BabyMonsterโ€™s debut lead track will feature a โ€œpowerful mood,โ€ according to YG Entertainment.

The girl group is currently practicing for the lead trackโ€™s choreography and will start shooting its music video in late October.

BabyMonster will be YG Entertainmentโ€™s first girl group in seven years, following the debut of Blackpink in 2016. The upcoming group consists of seven members: Ahyeon, Ruka, Chiquita, Haram, Pharita, Rora and Asa.
