Rapper Zico, who joined as the new youngest member of the travel variety show ‘A Real Man’s Travel’, revealed that he has “stripped away all his coolness” for the show.

Zico shared his thoughts on joining the show during an online press conference for SBS Plus and MBN’s ‘A Real Man’s Travel in Taiwan’ held on the morning of the 6th.

First, Choo Sung-hoon expressed his expectations, saying, “We filmed a lot of fun videos with a true ‘real man’ mindset. You can genuinely look forward to it. Episode 1 was great, but Zico is such a real man. I would be so grateful if you tune in to watch that.”

Zico, who joined as the new youngest member for this season, stated, “After going to Taiwan with Choo Sung-hoon and Kim Jong-kook, I had many precious experiences. While I can’t put everything into words right now, if you check the screen, you will be able to witness bizarre, very entertaining, and thrilling scenes with your own eyes.”

Kim Jong-kook also shared his anticipation, saying, “While filming, many people liked it, and the chemistry with Sung-hoon was great, so we filmed very fun and happily. I think you’ll be able to see us truly enjoying ourselves in this Taiwan edition.”

‘A Real Man’s Travel’ previously drew massive attention, nearing 100 million views on social media for its Kyushu edition. Regarding the Taiwan edition, Zico started off by saying, “First of all, we crossed the country. We came down from the top,” and then added with a laugh, “I just said something a bit nonsensical, but you can see me letting go like this directly. I called crossing a transverse a traverse instead of a longitudinal trip, showing myself losing my mind going back and forth like this, which should give you a good laugh.”

Kim Jong-kook added, “Zico has done a lot of variety shows, and I have too. Zico lets go of a lot here. The atmosphere from when he first arrived is completely different from the end. The production team prepared a lot to visit new places in Taiwan instead of the obvious ones, so I hope you enjoy watching those aspects.” Zico reiterated, “I stripped away all my coolness,” revealing that he let go of many things, sparking curiosity.

‘A Real Man’s Travel in Taiwan’ airs today (the 6th) at 9:40 PM.
