The premier global K-pop awards ceremony, the 2026 MAMA Awards, has officially kicked off its grand festival by unveiling a main teaser video that breaks down the boundaries of generations and musical tastes.

Music Interstellar Concept and Record-Breaking Lineup

On October 21, CJ ENM raised expectations by announcing the single-region record for the largest number of performing artists participating in the upcoming event, accompanied by the striking main teaser video.

The core concept for this year’s ceremony is “A Music Interstellar.” It promises to take viewers on an extraordinary musical journey bridging the past, present, and future of K-pop. Artists across various generations and genres will unite to deliver iconic performances and an “all-generation” collaboration that encapsulates K-pop history.

Innovative 360-Degree Stage Design at Kyocera Dome Osaka

Taking place at the Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan, the ceremony will introduce revolutionary stage production designed to maximize audience immersion. According to the production team, the height of the artist seating area has been adjusted to match the eye level of the audience, minimizing both physical and psychological distance.

Furthermore, a 360-degree stage structure has been adopted to ensure unobstructed views from any angle, allowing fans to feel intimately connected with the artists. This setup leverages over 30 years of accumulated stage production know-how from Mnet.

Event Schedule and Global Broadcast

A CJ ENM representative shared, “In an era where music consumption habits and preferences are increasingly diversified, this year's MAMA Awards aims to break down generational barriers and offer a special moment where global music fans can deeply connect through the universal language of music.”

The 2026 MAMA Awards will be held over two days on November 20 and 21. Prior to the main event, the first-ever on-and-offline “MAMA Fan Festa” will kick off on November 9 across the Osaka region and Mnet Plus. Secondary advance ticket sales begin today at 3 PM, and the entire event will be broadcast live worldwide through major digital platforms, including Mnet Plus.
