Baisha Gaming has secured the Crossfire championship at the 2026 Esports World Cup (EWC) after a dominant 3-0 victory over Team Liquid in the finals held at Porte de Versailles in Paris, France, on August 23rd. Following their momentum from defeating defending champion AG.AL in the semifinals, Baisha Gaming claimed the first international title of their history and secured the grand prize of $750,000 (approximately 1.03 billion KRW).
Baisha Gaming seized control early by winning the first set with a dominant round score of 10-1, followed by 10-4 victories in both the second and third sets to lift the championship trophy. With this victory, the China region, to which Baisha Gaming belongs, has earned an additional slot for the ‘CFS 2026 Grand Finals’ scheduled for later this year. Meanwhile, Team Liquid finished as the runners-up after their key sniper, Caio dos Santos, was successfully neutralized.
In the simultaneously held third-place match, Kingzone Esports defeated Team Stallions 3-0 to secure the final third place finish, successfully concluding their first international tournament campaign driven by Sun Feihe’s strong performance.
