In an official gesture honoring international cultural impact, the Los Angeles declares BTS Week SoFi Stadium proclamation was formally announced by Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and BigHit Music on August 31, 2026. The city officially designated September 1 to 8 as “BTS Week” to welcome the South Korean group as they bring their “Arirang” world tour to SoFi Stadium for four sold-out performances.
To commemorate the group’s return to Inglewood for the first time since December 2021, Los Angeles City Hall was illuminated in red on September 1, matching the dominant theme color of BTS’s fifth studio album, “Arirang”.
