Singer Evan has made a powerful statement as a solo artist by entering the US Billboard main album chart with his first mini-album.

According to the latest charts released by Billboard on the 29th (local time) for the week of October 3, Evan’s first mini-album ‘DEATH OF ME’ debuted at No. 49 on the main ‘Billboard 200’ chart.

The ‘Billboard 200’ ranks the most popular albums in the US by combining physical album sales, digital downloads, and streaming data. Evan secured a spot in the top 50 right out of the gate with his very first solo debut album, once again proving his global influence.

His momentum across detailed charts is equally unstoppable. ‘DEATH OF ME’ swept No. 2 on the ‘World Albums’ chart and No. 7 on the ‘Top Album Sales’ chart. Fueld by this powerful physical and digital music firepower, Evan claimed the No. 1 spot on the ‘Emerging Artists’ chart and landed at No. 51 on the ‘Artist 100’ chart, demonstrating his dominant presence in the global pop market.

Evan’s mini-album ‘DEATH OF ME’ embodies his bold determination to step forward into new musical challenges. Within just three days of its release, it surpassed 500,000 copies sold (based on the Hanteo Chart), quickly earning him the title of ‘Half Million-Seller.’ Prior to the US Billboard success, he also conquered major global charts including Japan’s Oricon and Billboard Japan, as well as the UK Official Charts.

The title track of the same name, ‘Death of Me,’ also successfully landed high on the UK Official ‘Single Sales’ and ‘Single Downloads’ charts, as well as TikTok Korea’s ‘Top 50’ and ‘Viral 50’ charts, while securing two music broadcast wins domestically to prove its explosive popularity.

Meanwhile, Evan will continue his hot streak through follow-up promotional activities. He is set to appear on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown,’ airing at 6 p.m. today (the 1st), to perform his follow-up song ‘Twilight’ for the first time. ‘Twilight’ is a sensuous pop track built on a UK garage rhythm, comparing the ecstatic moment of being captivated by someone to twilight, showcasing a uniquely transformed side of Evan.
